Commonwealth games opening ceremony (28th July)

Held every four years, cultivated by the core values of humanity, destiny, and, equality, the Commonwealth games aims to unite the commonwealth family through a fantabulous festival of sport. It brings the nation together in a glorious and colorful celebration of sport and human performance. It is exclusively bought by Autin Dance Theatre, which will showcase an interactive afternoon of street games, music, and dance along with BSL performances and many surprises which you don’t want to miss.

 

Well, when it comes to games and events, hosts are the most important people who add glory to the particular event. Therefore, let’s introduce you to our three local game hosts, Gemma, Sean, and Hank. They will be the ones welcoming you to participate in six street games. Most eminently, a very special guest, Eko the Sea Giant, a 13-foot-tall puppet operated by 5 world-class puppeteers.

Moreover, throughout the afternoon we’ll be provided with music from our house DJ EIF sound and music. They are electronic music producers who will be creating original compositions to match the street games’ players’ moves in real-time. Time to have a lot of percussions, groovy rhythms, and catchy melodies from around the world, along with a few tracks from other upcoming Birmingham producers thrown into the mix!

7 PM-Street Games with our 3 Hosts & special guest Eko

8 PM-LIVE OPENING CEREMONY ON THE BIG SCREEN!

This year, Commonhealth Games 2022 are all ready to get set go on the 28th of July in Birmingham in England along with 5000 athletes from 72 countries all primed to give their best shots. India is all set to raise the national flag Tiranga on the foreign land and witness our best athletes performing in the event. The event will be glorified with the presence of Prince Charles, the son of the queen of England, Elizabeth.

 

Indian viewers can watch and enjoy the live telecast of the ceremony on Sony Ten 1, Sony Ten 2, Sony Ten 3, Sony Ten 4, and, Sony Six channels. Moreover, DD Sports will also be streaming the ceremony.
